The RanPak PadPak Senior paper packaging machine is ideal for high volume applications. It produces on-demand eco-friendly protective packing material for shipping or storing a wide range of fragile or heavy items in boxes.
Its patented fold and stitch process quickly converts 2 or 3-ply Kraft paper into extremely strong yet flexible packaging cushioning pads, ideal for protecting industrial and automotive parts like engines and pumps as well as sensitive products like electronics and computers.
The paper pads can be used as void fill and cushions, and for wrapping or bracing products of all shapes and sizes set for transit or storage, such as paintings or fine china. The machine’s technology offers a saving on material as it uses less paper than other techniques to create a highly effective shock-absorbent cushioning solution.
Designed to be flexible and user-friendly, the PadPak SR is height adjustable and can be rotated for vertical or horizontal use. With a feed rate of 40cm per second, packers are in complete control and have the versatility of four operating modes and the ability to create pre-set lengths. Modes are: remote control, footswitch, EDS which can produce a new pad as soon as the previous one is taken out, and automatic which can dispense a pre-set number of pads.
Accessories include a basic or extended packing table, a coiler option to pack very heavy products, and a paper cart to carry 3 or 6 rolls of paper. The Kraft paper packaging can be dispensed with a branding strip, giving you an economical means to combine effective publicity with packaging costs.
