This Sealed Air Instapak machine provides foam-filled bags on demand via a simple easy-to-use system that requires minimal training and service. The system uses new foam-mixing technology that eliminates the need for pumps and heating elements required by larger volume systems, and there is no need for individual bag loading or manual mixing of components.
The Instapak Simple unit is powered by a standard electrical outlet so can easily be moved to any packing station. The machine can produce 3 foam cushioning bags a minute, either light duty or heavy duty, with available bag film sizes being 16ins and 24ins, suitable for a wide range of products from delicate electronics to bottles, computer screens and machine parts.
Simply press a button and Instapak foam is dispensed into the film from 2 component chambers, to be mixed internally by rotating rollers. The system releases the foam-filled bag as the top edge is securely sealed. You then place the bag in the shipping box and nestle your product into the expanding foam. The result is precise and secure protective packaging that safely cushions and holds your product. If desired, repeat the process to form a top cushion.
It’s a virtually mess-free operation. The 2 foam components are held in 2 easily fitted 2.5 gallon bottles, which snap into place and are easy to replace when needed as they come with the dispensing mechanism already attached. The empty bottles can be recycled along with other plastic products.
